The festival combines live music and a bowling tournament and has been a staple festival to the Las Vegas area ever since its introduction in 1999. This year they are bringing punk favorites like Madness, Devo, Descendants, and many more. Las Vegas, NV - [December 12], 2023 - Brace yourselves for the 24th annual extravaganza of Punk Rock Bowling and Music Festival, slamming back into Sin City from May 24 to 27, 2024. Fueled by the fans’ insatiable hunger, the festival is set to reignite at none other than the iconic Downtown Las Vegas Events Center. The 2024 iteration of PRB will welcome headliners Madness, Devo, and Descendents, as well as these great artists playing the festival for the first time: Billy Bragg, Gogol Bordello, Rocket From the Crypt, The Chats, Gorilla Biscuits, Quicksand, Destroy Boys, 999, Scowl, Bratmobile, Snooper and Cosmic Psychos stacking the bill. The lineup for the music festival, which runs from Saturday through Monday, will also welcome back PRB favorites Lagwagon, Stiff Little Fingers, The Subhumans, The English Beat, 7 Seconds, Skatalites, and Bad Cop/Bad Cop. At the helm of punk rock culture, Punk Rock Bowling is known for bringing together still-active legacy acts and the front-runners of the genre.
In keeping with tradition, the festival goes beyond the musical realm. Attendees can enjoy vibrant pool parties, try their luck at gambling, and partake in the excitement of the thrilling bowling tournament. Further, an array of club shows will be announced at the beginning of the new year, ensuring a chaotic symphony for all festival-goers.
We're thrilled to bring back the Punk Rock Bowling and Music Festival to the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center for its 24th edition. The Downtown Las Vegas Events Center offers a familiar setting to create an unforgettable experience for our passionate punk rock community.
Since its inception in 1999, when Youth Brigade co-founders Shawn and Mark Stern organized the first DIY Bowling Tournament by bringing folks from independent record labels, zines, and stores together in Vegas, the event has grown into a legendary gathering of music lovers from around the world.
"Punk Rock Bowling is an annual family reunion for the punk rock community worldwide," explained Shawn Stern. "It's important to support the new, younger bands and inspire them to carry on the tradition of punk political ideals. Punk Rock Bowling continues to be a platform for protests and calling out societal issues. We're excited to see our global family, established bands, and new faces unite to support the community.”
Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival is not just a music event—it's a four-day escape from the daily grind, offering pool parties, poker tournaments, and an immersive punk rock experience.
