JEHRY ROBINSON, QUESTION WHY

Jehry Robinson released his newest music video and song, produced by Wyshmaster, “Question Why,” on Feb. 17. In this single, Robinson shows appreciation for his life and working hard for what he’s given in life– as stated repeatedly throughout the chorus: “I count my blessings, I don’t question why.”

The music video was filmed at Strange Music Studios and represents the process of making a song in the studio. Something I appreciated about this video was how simple it was and how easy it was to follow the message song. Shot in about three or four rooms of the studio with a few alternating and free-moving camera angles, the video combines the simplicity of not questioning “why” (through the few locations and easy-to-follow meaning) with the sometimes complexity of writing a song (through the free-moving camera shots).

This vibey song added with a cleverly simple music video make it a perfect representation of how Robinson appreciates the life he’s worked for.
