Last week's 236th Hunnypot Radio Show was a blowout! The party went late into the night as we celebrated Larken Phillip's B-Day with a jam packed celebration.

Hot Tub Johnnie started things off with new music from Black Lips, The Spinto Band and Australian based electro pop quartet Panama.  It didn't stop there though as Hot Tub dropped some bangers in the second half of his set with a new track by Treated Crew (aka Million $ Mano, Gzus Piece, Mic Terror and Hollywood Holt) and the track which is our Video Pick of the Week - DVBBS "DRVGS".

Our musical guest was Boston based artist / singer-songwriter Petrina Foley.  Petrina came through the Hot Tub with a Hunnypot exclusive - premiering her soon to be released single "For You", which will be officially released next month and to be followed by her forthcoming untitled EP in early Summer 2012.  Petrina also laid out an exceptional live vocal performance featuring harmonies by Lindsay Nourse on her song "I Sit & I Wait" and the unreleased gem "Outside". Be sure to grab a Free Download of "I Sit & I Wait" and stay updated to all the latest on the forthcoming EP.

Like we said we partied hard and to help we had Hunnypot favorites Doc Hollywood do a special live interview session and premiered some new club bangers like "Welcome Home" and "Keep Running" and even dropped some HP classics like "1969", "Smashing Bottles" and the smash hit single "We Run LA".  The boys have just released their latest album Spit No Evil with Ras Kass which features the single "Who Popped Ya". Be ready for a big 2012 Summer with all new music from Doc Hollywood!

We saved the best for last as the man of the night, Birthday boy Larken Phillips, got on the 1's and 2's to give us a special handpicked B-Day set of all his classic favorites.  Larken had his special guest Moniquea kick off the set with her single "Can't Let You Go"  which then lead into an explosion of goodness as Larken dropped classics from Missy Elliot, Eve, Snoop Dogg, DJ Quick's "We Still Poppin'" and "Beat Box" by Art Of Noise. But the highlight by far was his pick of "Conscious Daughters" by Funky Explosion.  You can catch Larken kickin' with Hot Tub Johnnie and the rest of the HP Crew every other Monday at Libertine.
